We are delighted to announce that Professional Sports Group’s Brownlee Tri was awarded Gold for Best Triathlon at last night’s Running Awards 2017 at the Indigo O2.

The Running Awards identify and recognise the best in running every year, and following great success in the SPIA Awards at the beginning of April, Professional Sports Group was awarded its third award of the month for Brownlee Tri 2016, held at the stunning Harewood House, Leeds on Saturday 24th September.

Continuing to build on Alistair and Jonny Brownlee’s legacy triathlon, Brownlee Tri 2016 saw over 5000 people attend and 1600 registered participants take on a sprint and super-sprint swim, bike, run, with a third of participants taking part in their first triathlon.

Jamie Cunningham, CEO and Founder of Professional Sports Group said: “It’s been an incredible couple of weeks winning three prestigious awards for our events expertise. “All three award-winning events, including Brownlee Tri, were created, built and managed by Professional Sports Group, a testament to our ability as an agency to deliver across all areas of event management and marketing. “I am really proud of the PSG team and look forward to more successful events in the coming months.”
